More recently, the bank has undergone a significant leadership transition—shaping its identity and deepening its connection.

With a dynamic story rooted in resilience, innovation and community engagement, CBT recognized the value of sharing its journey more broadly.

As a longtime supporter of our local publication Columbus Champions, CBT saw an opportunity to collaborate with our team, which understands both storytelling and the spirit of the region

Together, Bank President Joshua Johnson and the CBT leadership team partnered with us to craft a publication that reflected the heart of their mission and the evolution of their leadership.

The result was a beautifully designed, custom publication that highlighted CBT’s legacy while celebrating its future. Through thoughtful interviews, engaging editorial content and stunning photography, the publication captured the people, milestones, and moments that define Columbus Bank and Trust.

It offers readers an inside look at the values and vision guiding the bank forward—making it not just a retrospective, but a forward-thinking story of community-driven leadership.

Jana Rasmussen has always been a supporter of our pocket-sized publication, Columbus Champions. She shared, "I read every one of them."

It led to a discussion about people enjoying buying from people they know. I heard Jana share three key points she wanted Columbus to know about her.

First, she was a farm girl raised in this area. Secondly, she had 10 years of experience in insurance and finally, she ran her agency differently than her predecessor.

She admitted American Family Insurance does a great job of providing marketing materials, but she wanted something more personal.

But when she shared that she had been, "Elbow deep in a cow on plenty occasions," I was hooked. I knew our 'Tell Your Story' product was perfect to make her story memorable.

Oscar Vazquez is a seasoned musician who plays professionally, thanks in part to his lifelong commitment to music education. His educational background includes:

-DMA, Piano Performance, University of Nebraska-Lincoln

-MM, Piano Performance, Kansas State University

-BM, Piano, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México

In 2023, he and his wife, Krista, set out to create Nebraska's home for high-quality, bilingual piano instruction. This vision led them to open Vazquez Music Studio in downtown Columbus.

Their marketing goals included informing parents and students in Columbus and the surrounding communities about their studio and welcoming new students.

We worked closely with Oscar and Krista to develop a Strategic Marketing Plan, which included a bilingual flip 'em book to share Oscar's story. The first four pages are in English, and if you flip the book over, those same four pages appear in Spanish.

A unique solution for an especially talented bilingual instructor.
